depression is the better way out.
most people say that when someone's depressed, that someone has got issues with something or somebody or whatever. well, for the record, most people are also idiots.
your parents tell you that its not good to be depressed because it is not good for your soul. your parents are also the same people that tell you that you will go blind if you touch it too much.
it is good for your soul. it lets you in on yourself, a re-evaluation of self, a discovery of self within self. of course, that also begs the question whether it is the intelligent depression or the absolutely pathedic depression. most people cannot distinct between these two. most people are also idiots. whether it is a learning process or just a date with lubricants, the choice is entirely up to you. this is applicable to everything in your life. its not like its really healthy to sit on your arse and whinge about everything and nothing in the world anyway.
so when is it the right time to be depressed? anytime. anywhere. when you are actually introspective and retrospective, you will be depressed automatically. its a forgone conclusion, really.
the next time you think about taking the razor and start shaving off your veins, also think about what kind of depression are you in. which would most probably the self-indulgent idiotic most appalingly kind of depression. ah well. i didn't say that you aren't one of the idiots i was talking about. hopefully you aren't, anyway.
