Unwind

This is so draining: lit until 7 is really a killer. Not only do you have to constantly listen to her voice rattling away, you have to live with the fear of being singled out, the weariness of your tired soul, and the danger of falling out of your chair.

Naturally when I got home I had to unwind. So there I was at the dinner table, watching my dad enjoy his Irish coffee. I eyed at it for quite a while. I couldn't take it anymore, I asked for some.

He took one look at me and said, "Sure." I downed the contents of his glass gratefully.

"More? Can?" Most of the time he won't give me anymore than one sip.

"Sure." And he gave me more. And more.

After two more shots I felt much better.

Thank God for dads like mine.
